From One Product to Three Editions<\/strong><\/p>\n When LEO PPM was first released in 2022, it existed as a single solution.<\/p>\n It was built on Model-Driven Power Apps (Microsoft Power Platform)<\/strong>, and the default tool for schedules and task management was Project for the Web<\/strong> (now known as Planner Premium<\/strong>).<\/p>\n As our customer base grew and Microsoft\u2019s product landscape evolved, it became clear that one size does not fit all.<\/p>\n That is how three LEO PPM editions were formed.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n LEO PPM Planner Edition<\/strong><\/p>\n LEO PPM Planner Edition is the platform’s original version.<\/p>\n It uses Microsoft Planner Premium as the default tool for task and schedule management and is ideal for organisations that:<\/p>\n Planner Edition provides the complete LEO PPM ecosystem<\/strong>: strategy, OKRs, portfolios, programs, projects, analytics, and governance \u2014 all connected.<\/p>\n This edition is often chosen by companies seeking rapid adoption with minimal changes to their existing Microsoft stack.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n LEO PPM Gantt Edition<\/strong><\/p>\n The only difference<\/strong> between Planner Edition and Gantt Edition is the scheduling engine<\/strong>.<\/p>\n Instead of Microsoft Planner Premium, LEO PPM Gantt Edition uses LEO Gantt \u2014 our own scheduling product.<\/p>\n We began developing LEO Gantt at the end of 2023 due to growing dissatisfaction with Microsoft’s direction for Planner Premium.<\/p>\n That dissatisfaction never disappeared.<\/p>\n On June 14, during our annual conference, we officially introduced LEO Gantt to the market.<\/p>\n Our goal was not just to build a tool \u201cbetter than Planner Premium\u201d.<\/p>\n We wanted to create a product where:<\/p>\n LEO PPM Gantt Edition is chosen by organisations that require:<\/p>\n <\/p>\n LEO Plan<\/strong><\/p>\n In August 2025, Microsoft officially announced the retirement of Project Online.<\/p>\n Thousands of organisations suddenly faced the same question: Our answer was LEO Plan<\/strong>.<\/p>\n We deliberately removed all strategy and portfolio-level blocks from LEO PPM Gantt Edition and created a pure project management product.<\/p>\n LEO Plan is designed for companies that:<\/p>\n In short, the LEO Plan is project management only \u2014 nothing more, nothing less.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n Functional Comparison<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Licensing Approach<\/strong><\/p>\n All LEO PPM editions do not impose user limits.<\/p>\n The only requirement is having the appropriate Microsoft licenses.<\/p>\n Licensing for LEO PPM Planner Edition<\/strong><\/p>\n \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n Licensing for LEO PPM Gantt Edition & LEO Plan<\/strong><\/p>\n <\/p>\n <\/p>\n One Platform \u2014 Different Starting Points<\/strong><\/p>\n All three editions share the same core philosophy: Transparency.
